Able Hands recognized with Downtown Rock Springs Golden Broom Award
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is pleased to announce Able Hands, located at 126 Elk Street, as the recipient of the April Golden Broom Award.
The Golden Broom Award recognizes Downtown businesses that go above and beyond to maintain clean, welcoming storefronts and contribute to the overall appearance and experience of Downtown Rock Springs. From daily upkeep to thoughtful details, these efforts play a key role in creating a vibrant and inviting environment for residents and visitors alike.
Able Hands stood out this month for their consistent attention to detail and pride in their space. Their storefront is well-maintained, their adjacent parking area is kept clean and orderly, and their windows are regularly updated with creative, festive designs that add personality and color to the streetscape. These efforts don’t go unnoticed—they help set the tone for the surrounding area and reflect a strong commitment to Downtown.
Beyond their storefront, Able Hands is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities and support for individuals of all abilities. Their work focuses on building independence, skills, and community connection through a variety of programs and services. The organization plays an important role in Rock Springs by creating inclusive opportunities and supporting individuals in reaching their full potential.
