Mint Clean Honored as First-Ever Golden Broom Award Winner

Last Updated 8/4/2025

The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency is excited to announce the inaugural recipient of the Golden Broom AwardMint Clean, located at 110 Elk Street.

The Golden Broom Award is a new traveling recognition celebrating Downtown businesses and property owners who go the extra mile to keep their storefronts and sidewalks clean, welcoming, and attractive. From freshly swept walkways to sparkling windows and thoughtful curb appeal, the award shines a spotlight on those who take pride in Downtown Rock Springs.

It should come as no surprise that Mint Clean is our first winner. After all, cleanliness is their business—and they’ve transformed their corner of Downtown with cheerful paint, vibrant flowers, and an all-around tidy and inviting atmosphere. Mint Clean has set a high bar for others to follow, and we’re proud to recognize their efforts to beautify the community.

Each month, a new Downtown business or property owner will be selected to receive the traveling Golden Broom award and a static window cling to display.

Know a Downtown business that deserves the spotlight?

Nominations are now open for future Golden Broom recipients! To nominate a deserving business, contact the Rock Springs Main Street/URA office at 307-352-1434.
