🚲🌱 ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: THE BIKE AND TRIKE
Some businesses don’t just sell things—they help people get out and experience where we live.
Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature is The Bike and Trike, a Downtown Rock Springs fixture that has been helping local riders get rolling since 1983. Located at 612 Broadway, the shop offers bikes for riders of all ages and abilities, including mountain bikes and e-bikes, along with parts, accessories, gear and expert repairs.
Owner Jason Medler and his team do more than sell you a bike and send you out the door. They can help you find the right bike, get it properly fitted, keep it maintained and get you back on the road or trail when something goes wrong. Recent customers consistently highlight that knowledgeable, personal service—exactly the kind of thing that makes shopping local different.
And there’s plenty to see even if you’re not shopping for a new ride. The store is home to a vintage bicycle display, with classic bikes tucked throughout the shop, and shares its space with Java Peddler—so you can even grab a cup of coffee while you browse or wait on a repair. ☕🚲
The Bike and Trike is also a great example of how a local business can become connected to the lifestyle of a community. With some incredible biking opportunities throughout Sweetwater County, having a knowledgeable, full-service bike shop right here at home helps make it easier for people to get outside and explore.
So whether you’re an experienced mountain biker, thinking about trying an e-bike, looking for your kid’s next bike, or just need to get that old bike out of the garage and tuned up, think local first.
