💚🌱 ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: ACCESS, BALANCE & CHANGE (ABC)
Some businesses help our community grow. Others help our community heal. And some do both. ❤️
Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature is Access, Balance & Change (ABC), a locally owned counseling and treatment center that has been helping individuals and families in Rock Springs for 18 years!
Founded and owned by Kristy Meeks, ABC was built on a simple but powerful belief: Everyone deserves access to quality mental health and substance use treatment in an environment of dignity, respect, understanding, and hope.
And nearly two decades later, that commitment remains at the heart of everything they do.
Life isn't always easy. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, substance use, or major life changes, having compassionate professionals to turn to can make all the difference.
ABC offers a variety of services, including:
💚 Individual counseling – Helping people work through personal challenges and build healthier coping skills.
👨👩👧 Couples and family therapy – Strengthening relationships and supporting families.
🌟 Adolescent counseling – Helping young people navigate emotional and behavioral challenges.
🤝 Substance use treatment – Including intensive outpatient and Level 1 outpatient programs.
📚 Educational programs – Providing additional tools and resources for positive change.
But what makes ABC special isn't just the services they provide.
It's the people behind them.
Kristy and her dedicated team of counseling professionals and support staff understand that everyone's story is different. Their approach focuses on meeting people where they are, recognizing their strengths, and helping them move toward a healthier, more hopeful future.
And we love that ABC has chosen to build that mission right here in Downtown Rock Springs!
When we talk about supporting local businesses, we often think about shopping, dining, and entertainment. But our Downtown is also home to professionals who provide essential services that strengthen our families and improve the well-being of our entire community.
That's an important part of what makes a Downtown thrive.
For 18 years, ABC has invested in Rock Springs, created local jobs, and helped neighbors navigate some of life's most difficult moments.
And that's certainly worth celebrating!
ABC reminds us that asking for help takes courage, and that with the right support, positive change is possible.
Thank you to Kristy and the entire ABC team for your commitment to Rock Springs and the people who call it home!
