Main Street Market Moves to Bunning Park for 2026 Season — Vendor Applications Now Open
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is excited to announce a new location for the 2026 Main Street Market. Beginning this summer, the popular weekly market will take place in Bunning Park in Downtown Rock Springs, offering a fresh setting for one of the community’s favorite summer traditions.
The move to Bunning Park will provide a welcoming park atmosphere with shade, green space, and a central location that makes it easy for families, visitors, and shoppers to enjoy the market while spending time in Downtown.
Because the market will now be held in Bunning Park, organizers are approaching the move as a pilot season. With the park already one of the busiest in the community, there is some concern about the potential impact of weekly vendor traffic and equipment on the park grounds. City staff and the URA will monitor conditions throughout the season to ensure the park is protected.
Following the 2026 season, the location will be evaluated to determine whether the park can sustainably accommodate the market in future years.
Due to the new location and scheduling logistics within the park, the 2026 season will feature a slight adjustment to the schedule. The Main Street Market will run Thursdays from July 16 through August 27, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Main Street Market is the oldest and most established farmer’s market in Rock Springs, bringing together local growers, food producers, artisans, and small businesses. Each week, visitors can shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, handmade crafts, bath and body products, and other locally produced items from vendors across the region.
Vendor applications for the 2026 Main Street Market are now open, and organizers encourage both returning vendors and new participants to apply.
Vendor fees for the season are:
- $50 – Table/Canopy Space (10’ x 10’)
- $150 – Truck/Trailer Space (per truck or trailer)
“We’re excited to bring the market into Bunning Park this year,” said Maria Mortensen, chairwoman of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA. “The park provides a beautiful setting for the market and creates a great space for the community to gather, shop, and enjoy Downtown on summer evenings.”
Vendor applications are now available online here, at the Rock Springs Main Street/URA office located at 603 S. Main Street, or by calling 307-352-1434 to request an application.
