LR Communications Named February Golden Broom Award Winner
The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency is pleased to recognize LR Communications as the February Golden Broom Award winner for Downtown Rock Springs.
The Golden Broom Award is presented monthly to a Downtown business that demonstrates exceptional pride in their property by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-cared-for storefront and surrounding area. LR Communications, located at 421 N Front St, stood out for consistently keeping their section of North Front Street looking great, along with regularly updating their window displays with fun, eye-catching seasonal décor that adds charm and personality to Downtown.
“A clean and attractive Downtown doesn’t happen by accident,” said Maria Mortensen, chairwoman of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA. “It’s the result of businesses like LR Communications taking ownership and pride in their space. Their attention to detail — from the sidewalk to their windows — helps create a welcoming environment for everyone.”
Nominations for the Golden Broom Award are accepted from the community at large. Community members are encouraged to nominate Downtown businesses they feel go above and beyond to keep their spaces clean and inviting by contacting the Rock Springs Main Street/URA office.
The Golden Broom Award is part of Rock Springs Main Street/URA’s ongoing efforts to highlight positive stewardship, encourage cleanliness, and celebrate the businesses that help make Downtown Rock Springs a great place to work, shop, and visit.
