High Country Hearing Center Receives November Golden Broom Award

Last Updated 11/3/2025

The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is pleased to announce High Country Hearing Center, located at 514 Broadway Street, as the November Golden Broom Award recipient.

The Golden Broom Award recognizes a Downtown business that takes exceptional pride in the appearance of their storefront—keeping sidewalks tidy, windows clean, landscaping fresh, and their overall environment welcoming for customers, neighbors, and visitors. High Country Hearing Center exemplifies that pride every single day.

From seasonal planters and blooming flowers in summer, to swept sidewalks free of leaves and snow, and sparkling windows that showcase their inviting interior, High Country Hearing Center consistently goes above and beyond to help keep Downtown Rock Springs looking its best. Their dedication adds warmth and vibrancy to one of Broadway Street’s key retail blocks.

High Country Hearing Center has been serving the Rock Springs community for years, offering expert hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, follow-up care, and education to help clients improve their hearing health and quality of life. Their staff is known not only for professionalism and expertise but also for the welcoming, caring environment they provide to every individual who walks through their doors.

“Small touches make a big difference,” said Maria Mortensen - Rock Springs Main Street/URA board chairwoman. “Businesses like High Country Hearing Center show pride not only in their work, but in our shared Downtown. Their level of care contributes to a cleaner, more inviting community space for everyone.”

The Golden Broom Award is presented each month to a Downtown business that demonstrates outstanding upkeep and beautification efforts.
