Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature is Boschetto's European Market, a longtime Rock Springs institution located at 617 Broadway. Boschettoās was founded by Ben Boschetto, who immigrated to Rock Springs from northern Italy, and the business has carried Italian food traditions forward through generations of the Boschetto family.
And if youāve lived in Rock Springs for any length of time, thereās a good chance you already have a Boschettoās favorite.
Maybe itās The Godfather, a Philly cheesesteak or French dip. Maybe itās their pizza or one of their classic hot and cold sandwiches. Or maybe itās the thing Boschettoās is especially famous for: Kronskiās Sausage.
That Kronski tradition runs especially deep. The hickory-smoked garlic sausage recipe has been passed down through generations, and today it remains one of those uniquely Rock Springs foods that locals knowāand former residents are happy to get their hands on when they come home.
Boschettoās also reflects an important piece of the Rock Springs story. Our community was shaped by immigrants who came here from around the world, bringing their traditions, cultures and foods with them.
