🌮🌱 ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: CASA CHAVEZ
Some local businesses become so familiar that it’s easy to forget just how long they’ve been part of the community.
For more than two decades, Casa Chavez owner Inalvez Chavez has been serving up Mexican food in Rock Springs. His story is also a great example of what Rooted in Rock Springs is all about: finding an opportunity, building a business and choosing to make Rock Springs home.
Located at 744 Pilot Butte Avenue, Casa Chavez is a family-owned restaurant serving homemade Mexican favorites—from tacos, burritos and enchiladas to chile rellenos, fajitas, seafood dishes and, of course, margaritas.
But a locally owned restaurant is about more than what’s on the plate. It’s the familiar faces behind the counter, the favorite dish you order every time, the place you meet friends for lunch, and the business owner who has spent years investing in the same community you call home.
That’s what makes places like Casa Chavez Mexican Restaurant such an important part of Rock Springs.
And if you need an excuse to stop in, Taco Tuesday seems like a pretty good one! 🌮 Or fajita Wednesday. Or margarita Friday. We’re really not picky. 😄
The next time you’re deciding where to grab lunch or dinner, think local first. Your meal supports a local family, local jobs and a business that has been part of Rock Springs for decades.
