Anyone with a pet knows they aren’t just pets. They’re family—and unfortunately, they never stay with us quite long enough. That’s what makes capturing their personalities, quirks and the bond we share with them so special.
Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature is Marni Christensen Pet Photography, located at 642 Pilot Butte Avenue in Downtown Rock Springs. Marni specializes in creating portraits of pets and the people who love them, both in her Downtown studio and on location throughout Sweetwater County.
And don’t worry if your dog won’t sit still for more than three seconds. 😄 Marni says most of the dogs she photographs are full of energy, and her sessions are designed around patience, playtime, treats and plenty of opportunities for pets to simply be themselves. She photographs dogs, cats and other animals and offers everything from traditional pet portraits and pets-with-their-humans sessions to senior-pet portraits, puppy plans, equine sessions and even birthday cake smashes. 🎂🐶
Marni is also a PPA Master Photographer and certified Adobe Photoshop expert, but we especially love the way she uses those talents to give back. She volunteers her photography with Red Desert Humane Society and Rock Springs Animal Control, helping adoptable animals put their best paw forward while looking for forever homes. ❤️
And there’s more than photography behind the door! Marni’s Downtown studio includes a small pet boutique featuring collars, handmade bandanas, homemade treats and other goodies for four-legged shoppers.
