☕🥐 ROOTED IN ROCK SPRINGS: VISARDI CAFÉ

Sometimes the best way to experience a little bit of the world is right here at home.

Our next Rooted in Rock Springs feature is Visardi Café, a family-owned café at 535 N. Front Street bringing a distinctly international flavor—and a place to slow down and stay awhile—to Downtown Rock Springs.

Owners Veronica Villegas and her daughter, Denise Villegas, opened the café in late 2025. Inspired by Veronica’s years of travel through Europe and North Africa, they wanted to recreate something she loved about European café culture: a place where people don’t simply grab something and leave, but sit, talk, eat, drink and enjoy being together.

And the menu travels a bit, too! You’ll find influences from Hispanic, Mediterranean, French and Italian cuisine, with offerings that include crepes, breakfast tortas, sandwiches, veggie wraps, coffee and tea, along with treats such as baklava, macarons and chocoflan.

Take a look around while you’re there, too. From the plants and fresh flowers to the food coming out of the kitchen, Visardi Café feels personal—and that’s one of the things we love most about locally owned businesses.

That’s also exactly what Rooted in Rock Springs is about.
