Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 Overnight Visit
Description
Union Pacific's legendary Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest operating steam locomotive built to conquer mountains, will pass through 5 states this summer during its 2024 Westward Bound Tour from Wyoming to California.
Rock Springs IS NOT A WHISTLE STOP, but an overnight stop. Big Boy will be here July 1 and 2, departing July 3. You'll be able to look at Big Boy through the fences, but not get any closer.
Per Union Pacific: Overnight Stops Locations where the Big Boy stops overnight are closed to the public due to safety and security reasons, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. Non-employees who access these locations without permission will be treated as trespassers.
