Description
Announcing auditions for the final installment in our immersive, theatrical experience...F R 3 A K S H O W III
(The Final Act)
The end is here. And we are so grateful you'd like to share your art with us - at a time when it's never been more important.

PRODUCTION SYNOPSIS:
TH3M, the Entertainment Demon, is back and on the hunt for a few good FR3AKS.
In our first installment, we highlighted humanity's descent into Hell with the Unlucky 13. FS 2 showed the great Evil's rise to power through the media, supported by the 7 Deadly Sins.

Where did we go wrong? Who is to blame? What will be left when Evil has had its fill? And... is it too late for us to be saved? The Ten Commandments will be taking the stage next. Through killer live performances and hosting from TH3M, each of our Commandments join forces to share their stories and answer the questions burning deep inside us all.
This original, conceptual storyline is one filled with grotesque glamour, unspeakable horror, nauseating filth... A twisted adventure to the darker sides of Drag and Queer performance art.
Paying our respects to the FREAKS that came before us, shining a spotlight on the times, and entertaining audiences in ways not found anywhere else in Wyoming.

Dark/spooky/dramatic/scary/gross/and otherwise "push the bar" type content is encouraged.
If you have an established character or concepts you think would fit in the show, bring those for consideration. As outlined above - If you are an experienced performer (be it with The Starling Co. or in other places), we will gladly accept submissions of previous performances that showcase your abilities.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
~ You are not expected to attend auditions in Drag.
~ Previous experience and a fully idealized character are not required, but are always welcome. We will collaborate with each artist to develop character and numbers.
~ Performances are not limited to any specific medium. We are open-minded and would love to see lipsyncing, live singing, dance, or anything your imagination can conjure!
~ Please air on the side of consideration when developing your concept. Historically, there is a strong connection between the "freakshows" of the past and the physical and mentally disabled communities. Be aware of the intent in your concept, and work to remain respectful of these marginalized individuals. We are here to honor, celebrate, and uplift.
~ The safety of our performers and patrons is imperative. High-risk concepts (aerial stunts, fire breathing, sword swallowing, etc.) will receive priority consideration but must come with a thorough safety plan.

SHOW DATES:
May 8th & 9th @ 7:30pm.

REHEARSALS:
First cast meeting will take place on Sunday, March 8th.
Most of the work for this show will be done independently by each artist. The Production Team will work closely with the cast to schedule individual check-ins for developing character and numbers prior to the show. You will be expected to work hard and diligently on your performance.
We will hold a total of 4 blocking/choreo rehearsals during the months of March and April to learn and polish the opening and closing numbers. This will be based on availability, and performers will be given a minimum of 2 weeks notice for each rehearsal.
Tech Week is mandatory and will take place Sunday, May 8th through Thursday, May 7th. Out-of-towners will work with the Production Team to finalize at least 1 in-person Tech rehearsal. Free accommodations with a local, trusted member of The Starling Co. team will be available!

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
We are currently exploring options to take this show on the road to Casper, WY in June for Pride. This is not required.
