The clip-clop of horses’ feet will be heard throughout Downtown Rock Springs as Small Business Saturday is set for Saturday, November 27 and officially heralds the Christmas shopping season in Downtown Rock Springs. Thanks to Trona Valley Federal Credit Union, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, the City of Rock Springs, Daniel’s Jewelry and D&L Excavation, FREE carriage rides will be offered each Saturday from Thanksgiving to December 18 in Downtown Rock Springs. The rides are available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from in front of Coal Train Coffee Depot, 501 S Main Street.
In addition to carriage rides, Santa himself will be available the at the Downtown Gazebo (corner of D and Broadway) from Thanksgiving to December 18 the same hours. Share your Santa pics with us for a chance to win a GIANT stocking, full of toys and gifts!
Since the Rock Springs Main Street/URA is part of the official Small Business Saturday movement, there will also be plenty of goodies available to shoppers on Small Business Saturday. The first 100 shoppers through Mack and Company on November 27 will receive a free tote bag and a chance to win a $100 Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate as well as countless other gift certificates ranging from $5 to $100! .
